McKendree United Methodist’s presence in the city of Nashville dates back to 1787. For over 200 years, we have been a presence in downtown Nashville. In 1990, we began offering childcare, located in the Christian Life Center, offering high quality child care to the families in the downtown Nashville area. 

Our elevators in the Christian Life Center are in need of replacement to maintain safe operations of our daycare facility. Our goal is to raise $187,500, the cost quoted to us by a local firm.

We are seeking partnerships to secure funding for the elevator repair–a necessary accessibility component of the life of the building and its partnerships and ministries.
