Ever wonder why when there is a crisis we see the generosity of people?  Why do we wait for the crisis to happen before we see generosity in action?  One of the amazing and miraculous stories in the Bible is Jesus feeding the five thousand.  Jesus is notorious for addressing need.

What needs do you see in Nashville?  On your job?  In your own family?  For every need, there is a response, favorable or unfavorable!

Calming the Crowd!

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.”  There was plenty of grass there.  They sat down, about five thousand of them.”   John 6:10

Acknowledging God’s Presence!

Then Jesus took the bread.  When he had given thanks, he distributed to those who we sitting there.  He did the same with the fish, each getting as much as they wanted.   John 6:11

Rewarding faithfulness!

So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves that had been left over by those who had eaten.”   John 6:13
