Wisdom is the ability to wait for God to speak

Greetings Holy, Healthy and Happy People of God,

As I write this eNote to our faithful and devoted community of radical followers of Jesus Christ, I am remembering a recent purchase on tires.   For months I drove knowingly with the car pulling to the left.  And in just a few months the tread on the tire was starting to wear down quickly.  A tire works well is when there is a complete alignment which means balance.

John tells us that the world offers us cravings and these distractions can move us out of the will of God.  These cravings cause us to get out of alignment, out of balance.  Ultimately our actions lead to the abandonment of God’s will.  But then he suggests that these cravings, when we keep a realignment back to God’s will, the cravings will pass away.  “And the world and its cravings are passing away, but the person who does the will of God remains forever.” 1 John 5:17

This week let’s spend time more with God, more time praying, more time reading the Bible, more time with positive people, and more time helping others.  As a result of these daily practices, we can more clearly discern the will of God and spent less time trying to figure out this life we live.  Remember trust in the Lord and lean not to our own understanding…” Proverbs 3:5-6.

Hear the W.O.W., the Words of Wisdom,
“Wisdom is the ability to wait for God to speak!”

As always, remember, God’s will for us is good, we must do the rest!
Pastor Stephen
