Greetings Holy, Healthy and Happy People of God,

As I write the eNote to our faithful and devoted community of radical followers of Jesus Christ, I am extremely aware of the pending election for the Presidency of the United States of America. From several conversations over the past several weeks, many people are literally fearful of what might happen.

After praying and seeking God, here are a few suggestions of what we can offer other Americans on election day from the Prophet Jeremiah while God’s people were in exile.

Promote Goodness!  “Promote the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because your future depends on its welfare.” Jeremiah 29:7

Remain Peaceful and Hopefilled! “I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Pray without Ceasing! “When you call me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you search for me, yes, search for me with all your heart, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:12-13

As a sign of unity, I would like to offer Holy Communion on Election Day for those who may need to experience Christ. So, I am proposing Holy Communion at 12 Noon and 6pm.
