Philippians 4:4-7, New International Version

Is a life of perpetual peace even possible or even desirable for most people?  As the church in Philippi gathered, Paul’s letter must have raised their eyebrows.  Discernment is paramount for Paul and for the people in Philippi so that “unity” of the body of Jesus is evident.  There is no unity without peace!

Unity is grounded in peace!
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,”     Philippians 4:7(a)

Peace protects our hearts and minds!
“will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”      Philippians 4:7(b)

Hear the W.O.W., the Words of Wisdom,
“God’s peace is possible!”
