SATURDAY, JULY 30: CAROLING ON THE FRONT LAWN!!!
As part of our Christmas in July celebration, we’ll be singing Christmas carols on the front steps/lawn on Saturday, July 30, from 10:00-11:30am. We’ll hand out bottles of water, and greet all the passersby. Everyone is invited to participate. Come join the fun!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY CELEBRATION
If you’ve ever lived in the Southern Hemisphere, you’ll know this is perfect weather for Christmas. But whatever the weather, we’re having Christmas inside! This Sunday we’re celebrating Christmas in July! Please bring gifts of spiral notebooks, composition books and pencils for Rose Park Middle School, our Pencil Partner. This is a joint work of the Evangelism/Mission/Social Justice Ministry Team and the Worship Ministry Team. Remember that this weekend is tax-free for school supplies. Please bring your gifts this Sunday! (Metro Nashville School starts next week!)
WORSHIP WITHOUT WALLS!
Following our time of worship together, we will have a Worship Without Walls experience. This will be a time of serving God by helping others. Some work projects will be here at the church, and several others are in the community. All projects are designed to be no more than two hours long. Projects include:
Bethlehem Center (mopping gym floor, painting classrooms)
Martha O’Bryan Center (touch-up painting in classrooms)
John Early Middle School (putting out fresh mulch on the grounds)
Buena Vista School (cleaning the community garden)
Christian Life Center Rooftop Garden (weeding the planters)
McKendree Church (organizing and packing the Christmas in July gifts)
McKendree Church Clothes Closet (folding and organizing clothing)

GIVE A GIFT OF HOPE
“Faith” the Cow is at the church to remind you to bring your gift, so that she can be a “Gift of Hope” for a family. You can help her get to the right family through your donation to our Mission Project. Our Evangelism/Mission/Social Justice Team has a mission focus with Heifer International. Our original goal was to raise $500 to purchase a cow for an impoverished community. Our new goal is to raise enough to purchase two cows! Sunday will be the last day for this offering. You may give on Sunday or online. Thank you for your generous giving!
