Greetings Holy, Healthy and Happy People of God,

As I write this blog entry to our faithful and devoted community of radical followers of Jesus Christ, I am wondering what we are carrying around as followers of Jesus. Simone Biles, the 4’8” American gymnast sensation, won the individual all-around competition by a record two whole points. As she heard the news, Simone erupted with joy. To see her erupt with joy after hearing that her parents abandoned her and her little sister was nothing short of a miracle. Joy is our response to being intimate with God.

Followers of Jesus must be carriers of JOY and join God’s creation in releasing this joy! “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12 The Lord longs to make us a unified people that go out in joy.

Choose the joy of the Lord over the stress and cares of the world. Choose to “be led forth in peace” rather than led by our flesh. So experience today the lifestyle of carrying the joy of the Lord with you everywhere you go.

Hear the W.O.W., the Words of Wisdom: “God’s people are marked by JOY!”
