Greetings Holy, Healthy and Happy People of God,

As I write this eNote to our faithful and devoted community of radical and responsible followers of Jesus Christ, I recently gathered a group who are interested in our North Nashville experiment for a house church.  As we gathered, there was prayer, a meal, great fellowship, a study of the books of Acts, and engaging conversation and then our time ended.  Realizing in a moment that communal life is possible and preferred, but most of us just don’t know it.

In Acts, Luke writes, “Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common.” Acts 4:32  In the moment of being in community, I believe beyond sharing our hearts and words, if there were anyone in need, we would find a way to help them.  Sharing has the ability to break down walls and eliminate worry.

We were given an assignment to share a conversation this week with someone unlike us.  So I invite you to go out this next week and share a conversation about life and watch God intervene in amazing way.
