We have work to do together!

Greetings Holy, Healthy and Happy People of God,

As I write this eNote to our faithful and devoted community of radical and contextually conscious followers of Jesus Christ, I am thankful for our congregation’s continued good works.  There seems in the season of life to be more works for us to do.

This week as I sat in Life Group, the group was discussing the idea of having an Eternal Impact from Ephesians 2:10 where Paul writes, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”  WOW!  Think about God’s unique design and purpose for our lives.  No one can do what we were assigned to do.  We have been equipped by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to do good works that will have eternal implications.

One sentence in our devotional time spoke to my heart and humbled me was this statement, “You now have the same Holy Spirit dwelling within you who raised Jesus from the grave, empowered the disciples to save, heal, and set free the lost, and authored the words of Scripture.”  We have everything to change the world right inside of us, not outside of us.  Everything that God has given us starts from the inside of us.  So let’s journey together and be of one mind and join God in movement of transformation of this world.  The only way this world will change is for us to lead by love!

Hear the W.O.W., the Words of Wisdom,
“We have work to do together!”

Remember to pray The Lord’s Prayer every day at 12 Noon!

As always, remember, God’s will for us is good, we must do the rest!
Pastor Stephen
