On January 10th our Wednesday night adult Bible study group will begin a study of the book The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Of the more than 60 books by C.S. Lewis, this is one of his most well-known classics. Although it was first published in 1942, this book of letters is still very much applicable to our lives today.
It is a satirical portrayal of human life (and human weaknesses) from the viewpoint of Screwtape, a highly placed assistant to Satan, as he writes to his nephew Wormwood, a novice demon in charge of capturing the soul of an ordinary young man. You will find this book interesting, humorous and eye-opening.
We welcome everyone to join with us for this study series. We meet each Wednesday at 6pm in Pastor Stephen’s office.
