THIS WEEK AT McKENDREE!
SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES are regularly at 9am and 11am (on Fifth Sundays we have one combined worship service at 10am). Our September sermon series is “Count Life All Joy!” God calls us to celebrate in the midst of the chaos. This life is filled with uncertainty and uncontrollable situations, but life, the life that God gives us, is filled with the joy of the LORD! How do we reclaim our joy? Join us for a time of reclaiming and renewing the joy of the LORD that is already within us.
LIFE GROUP! Do you belong to a Life Group? McKendree Church has Life Groups for men, for women, for couples, for mixed men and women, for moms, and even for couponers. Our groups meet at various times during the week and in various locations. We encourage everyone to be in a Life Group! If you’d like more information about our Life Groups, contact Ruth Baggett in the church office (615-271-2600 or mckendreeinfo@gmail.com).
YOUTH PECAN SALE Our McKendree Youth are selling 1-pound bags of pecans to help us pay for our trip to Warmth in Winter in January! Bags are $15 and we will be selling until we sell out so get yours soon! With the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons coming up, this is a good time to get pecans for your holiday baking. Buy a bag and give it to the person in your family who makes those great pies. See the sign-up sheets in the front and back of the church, or contact Austin Jones at mckendreeaustin@gmail.com.
